Thru 2010 at Nipson we have been able to capitalize on the opportunities the new investment climate is offering in the USA and in Latin America (see below).

The activity experienced at both the Labelexpo Americas exhibition as well as at the Graphexpo 2010 show confirm that overall the economy is improving. Our next event will be the Print World 2010 show that takes place in Toronto from November 21 thru 22, 2010, were we will be participating via our new distributor in Canada, Nustream Graphics.

New sale – Thomas Gregg and Sons, Sao Paolo, BRASIL

Thomas Greg & Sons (TGS) is one of the largest companies in the printing of business forms, security and variable data in Latin America. In Brazil TGS offers a variety of print-based products such as tickets, identification labels and tax documents. Given the characteristics of their applications, toner adherence and MICR capabilities are critical for the requirements of variable data production. This month Thomas Greg & Sons - Brazil acquired from International Printers Services, Nipson’s distributor for Brazil, a Nipson DIGIFlex printer for their production facility in São Paulo. This new printer will allow TGS to offer their customers new unique services such as high volume variable data, possibility of printing on heavy weight paper as well as additional security and quality printing features by using Nipson’s new fluorescent toner.

Nipson participates at shows in Chicago, IL

Our participation at both LabelExpo Americas and Graphexpo was successful and we had the opportunity to be introduced to new prospects; we also performed several demos at our demo facility located in Itasca, IL.

Visitors to our booths expressed interest in our unique capabilities for printing on synthetic substrates and light weight paper which seems to be a trend for label, forms and on demand printers to differentiate and add value in applications such as tag, label and documents; there was also interest in our high speed monochrome press of 500 ft/min for hybrid printing applications and to reduce running costs in high volume applications.
